A series of ADAS web tutorials

MacDermid Alpha Electronics Solutions is proud to present a series of 5 web tutorials led by Lenora Clark, director of autonomous driving and safety technology. This series will focus on enhanced materials that offer more thermal dissipation and greater resistance against heat and mechanical stress.

Introduction

Webinar 1 of 5: Advanced conductive adhesives

In this first tutorial ‘Advanced conductive adhesives’ we will learn why semiconductors are important for current automotive applications and we will look at the stresses associated with the package. From there you will hear about the benefits offered by our conductive die attach product line.

Webinar 2 of 5: Semiconductor packaging

This video focuses on how to improve package performance and reliability for automotive applications. You’ll be surprised at the importance of packaging materials when it comes to ADAS reliability!

Webinar 3 of 5: Innolot I

Did you know one of the most common causes of electronic failures is solder joint fractures? Use of a more reliable solder alloy can help save warranty costs for automotive OEMs. In our latest ADAS web tutorial, Lenora Clark explains how we achieved mass adoption at the Tier 1 level for our Innolot alloy, used to enable OEM performance specifications.

Webinar 4 of 5: Innolot II

In this tutorial we look at the potential need to combine assembly materials for specific Ball Grid Packages to achieve more stringent OEM specifications in ADAS design.

Webinar 5 of 5: Electrolube

In our final ADAS webinar, Lenora Clark reviews a range of Electrolube materials that help improve water and chemical resistance of an assembled printed circuit board in final build.
