SMTA “Members of Distinction” Award winner
MacDermid Alpha Electronics Solutions would like to congratulate Lenora Clark, Director Autonomous Driving and Safety Technology, on receiving the ‘SMTA Member of Technical Distinction award.’ Lenora has done exemplary work making significant and continuing technical contributions to the Surface Mount Technology Association.
Commenting her nomination, Lenora said: “I have always considered SMTA International to be the top technical conference in our industry. To win this particular award from this group is a great honor for me. I look forward to continuing my commitment to the SMTA organization and their goals.”
In her role, Lenora leads the team in understanding all systems involved in advanced safety on the path to full autonomy. She seeks to understand industry challenges associated to this endeavor. Further, Lenora works closely with fabricators, Tier 1s and OEMs to understand the needs of the entire supply chain to achieve faster, more reliable solutions. She works in all aspects of electronics uniting circuitry, semiconductor and assembly solutions for a holistic approach that the automotive market needs, especially for advanced driving assistance to reach next level autonomy.
Lenora has worked for the company for more than two decades and has published technical papers in many industry technical conferences. After graduating from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Lenora also received her Master’s Degree in Chemistry.
